Watepark in Moab

Since the temperatures were still way too hot to do any hiking or biking, we decided to go to the Waterpark, just outside Moab. I really wanted to go rafting again, but we had done that in Yellowstone already and Wahid wanted just to lounge around. The waterpark was a bit smaller then it looked on their internet site, but it would do for the afternoon.
We did not want to move the motorhome, if the motorhome is hook up to electric you can leave the airco on all afternoon. So it would be nice and cool when we would come back late afternoon. So we cycled the 7,5 miles to the waterpark, it was down hill and a lot it the cycle ride we could just free wheel. The waterpark had three slides, which were quite fast. Great fun....
The other two pools were very small and very shallow. But it would do for the day. At first there was hardly any one there, but later in the afternoon it got quite busy. I was happy just reading a book in the shade.
Almost at closing time we left and had to cycle back to the campground. The sun was still out and beating on the tarmac. Since we had to cycle up the hill now and it was not so much fun as in the morning. When I came back at the motorhome I was soaked again and have a shower again.
